Music Theory and Violin

Have you ever wanted to know how to compose music? How musicians make notes sound so lovely together?

Well, come meet me! I can teach you how to play basic notes on violin, and a little bit of music theory to get you started.

The experience will either be at the Anvil Center or at Vancouver College. You and the host will work that out.

You can get to the Anvil Centre by Skytrain. The closest station is New West Station, and it takes about 1 minute to get to the Centre from the station. There are sidewalks all the way between the station and the Centre, and ramped curbs on all the sidewalks. There is one slightly busy intersection to cross (8th Ave. and Columbia) between the station and the Centre and there are traffic lights with a walk signal at that intersection.

You can get to the VCC Campus by Skytrain, and the closest station to the campus is VCC - Clark. It takes about 5 minutes to get from the Skytrain station to the campus. There is one busy intersection to cross (Great Northern Way and Keith) and there are traffic lights with a walk signal at this intersection. There is one slight hill between the station and the lowest doors on the campus.
