Designing a great product with Lunapads

What goes into making a good product? How do you choose materials, and figure out what will sell? How do you get it to a customer?

Join the Lunapads team to discover how they've made their amazing lineup of products! Lunapads is a women-owned, environmentally-focused business. They make cloth pads and period underwear.

In this experience, you'll meet with their product design team. Talk about the kinds of fabrics Lunapads uses , and the reasons why they chose them. Test out different fabric's absorbency, feel, and colours. See all of the textiles and packaging they use to make - and send! - their products to customers.

Plus, get a peek into one of Lunapads' factories! It's just a few doors away . Meet the manager, Doris, and see how a product is actually made.

This is an amazing experience for anyone who's thinking about starting their own business, or who's curious about sewing and fabric projects.

To explore this experience together, we can...: Feel all the different fabrics Lunapads uses to make their products. Test them to see how soft and absorbent they are, and hear why each fabric is different in these ways.
-: See Lunapads' product stock room and factory. Check out old designs. Find out how they've changed their products over time and why.
-: Talk about how Lunapads works as a company. What's important to them? How do they sell their products? To whom?
-: Meet the team that helps get Lunapads from idea to product, and out to a customer!
