Carpentry Level 3. A visit to a work site

**Carpentry level 1. is a prerequisite to this experience**

Did building a birdhouse make you curious about carpentry and building larger structures? Would you like to explore a modern work site and talk about how homes, offices and stores you visit go from plans on paper to finished buildings?

This experience will be visiting a real job site where Jim works. There will be people working, building, using tools and equipment to get the job done. Jim will explain all of these roles and answer all your questions as you get up close to the action.

To explore this experience together, we can...: Get a close look at what it means to work in construction. Talk about what tools and equipment carpenters use and what other jobs people are doing on the site.
-: Site safety, production Drawings and all the steps involved in finishing a big project. Everything it takes to turn an idea into a building.
-: This experience will happen all over the lower mainland, depending on where I am working.
This happens: at the Host's work place
When you book it, the Host will need to know: job sites can be dirty and or noisy. Be sure to wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
