Textile Dyeing with Natural Dyes

Come visit me at my studio! We can chat about what is "slow fashion" or "slow textiles" and how that compares to "fast fashion". This will be appealing to you if you are interested in sustainability and environmental issues. I'll demonstrate textile dyeing with natural dyes and you will learn a little bit about:

1) Natural Fibers (cellulosic and protein).

2) The art of Shibori.

3) Natural Dyes. This involves heating the dyes over a hot plate.

I will guide you and you are welcome to try it yourself!
