Real Talk Pizza Party

Many people are interested in dating, love, relationships, and sex. But it can sometimes be embarrassing to talk about these things. And it can sometimes be tough to figure out who it's okay to talk about them with.

Real Talk is a sexual health initiative aimed at people with cognitive disabilities. Our goal is to help people build comfort with discussing dating, love, relationships, and sex . We think that when people start talking about these subjects, they can get better support around pursuing their hopes and dreams in this part of their lives. You can find more information on Real Talk at .

At a Real Talk Pizza Party, people get together over a meal and watch some videos from the Real Talk website. In these videos, people have conversations about how they met their partners, how they reduce the risk of STIs, how they deal with rejection, and much more.

Then, a certified sexual health educator leads a conversation about the videos, and invites people to reflect on their own experiences, and talk about their opinions on dating, love, relationships and sex. People can share as much or as little as they feel comfortable with.
